It's book fair week! We have so many wonderful books to stock up on exciting summer reading opportunities. Family shopping time is 7:30-7:55 each morning, and students have designated time to shop each day of the book fair. Gift certificates are available for purchase at www.cranebookfairs.com. We also have several teachers who have completed a "Wish List" for books to update their classroom libraries. Purchasing a book for your child's teacher would be a great way to thank her for her dedication this year.
Our Crane Book Fair will be next week (April 15-19). We will have Family Shopping each morning from 7:30-7:55. Students will also have assigned times for their classes to shop each day. Whew! We have had a big week of reading at GHP. To close out our Read Across America week, we enjoyed listening to stories from special friends at Premier Bank of the South, Eva Bank, and our very own Mrs. Garner, Mrs. Freeman, and Officer Bates. We are so grateful for everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to read to our students.
Day 4 of GHP's Read Across America was action-packed. Our students enjoyed listening to stories from our very own Officer Bates, GH Middle School's Mrs. Hembree and Mrs. Rankhorn, Daystar's Ms. House, and Cullman County's Extension Office's Ms. McClellan. We appreciate our readers taking time out of their day to come share stories and laughter with our students.
